Affiliate disclosure

How DubaiHuts earns money, which links may pay us a commission, and how we keep that separate from our recommendations.

DubaiHuts is free to read. To pay for research and writing, some links on the site are affiliate links. If you click one and then make a booking or purchase, the partner may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same.

Which links are affiliate links?

Buttons such as “Check availability”, “Compare tours” and “See tickets & times” may lead to booking partners. Pages with affiliate links carry a short disclosure near the top. Affiliate and paid links use the sponsored link attribute, so search engines know they are commercial.

Links marked “Visit official website” go to the hotel, venue or government body itself and do not earn us anything.

Who we may work with

We may join the affiliate programmes of established travel companies, such as hotel booking sites and activity marketplaces. We only activate a partner link after we have been accepted into that programme and are following its terms.

Sponsored placements

Businesses can pay for a clearly labelled sponsored placement. Sponsored items are marked “Sponsored” on cards and listing pages. Payment never buys a favourable opinion, a rating or the removal of accurate information.

What we track

When you click a partner link we count the click (which link, which page and when) so we know which guides are useful. We do not record your IP address or identity for this. The partner may set its own cookies once you arrive on its site; see its privacy policy.
