This policy explains how DubaiHuts.com (“DubaiHuts”, “we”) handles personal data when you use this website. We collect as little as we can.
Information you give us
When you send a message through our contact or partner forms, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, company and message. We use them to reply and to handle your enquiry. Messages are stored in our website system and delivered to our team by email.
Information collected automatically
- Spam protection. To limit form abuse, we keep a short-lived, one-way hash of your IP address for up to an hour. It is not stored with your message.
- Partner link clicks. When you click a partner link we record which link was clicked, the page it was on and the time. We do not record your IP address or identity for this.
- Analytics (only with consent). If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. If you decline, the analytics script is not loaded.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
Cookies
See our cookie policy for the cookies we use and how to change your choice.
Third-party sites
Partner and official links take you to other websites, which have their own privacy policies. Booking partners may set cookies to track a referral from us.
Newsletter
If we offer a newsletter, it is provided by an email service. Signing up is optional, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep data
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after the conversation ends, then deleted.
- Partner click records: up to 24 months, in a form that does not identify you.
- Analytics data: according to the retention setting in Google Analytics, which we keep at the shortest practical period.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to complain to a data protection authority.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change. The date it was last updated is shown at the top.
