Dubai has had an unusual year. Regional conflict in 2026 sharply reduced visitor numbers, and many hotels and attractions used the quiet period for renovation. Here is where things stand as the cooler season begins.

- Dubai Parks and Resorts: reopened on 7 October 2026.
- Dubai Safari Park: reopened on 12 October 2026.
- Global Village: Season 31 opened on 14 October 2026 and is expected to run until May 2027.
Temporarily closed attractions

Travel advice
Several governments issued travel advisories during 2026. Dubai officials said in mid-2026 that advisories were easing and visitor confidence was returning. Check your own government’s latest advice and make sure your travel insurance covers your trip.
